Change is the answer

In order for us as poor and oppressed people to become part of a society that is meaningful, the system under which we now exist has to be radically changed, It means facing a system that does not lend its self to your needs and devising means by which you change that system” Ella Baker.
Everyone is talking about change in Africa, If we just talk about it and not take actions towards fighting for change, nothing is ever changing in Africa. If we talk about it and take the necessary actions towards it, I bet you mountains in Africa will also move. Change is being talked about on the news, on the televisions and so on but nothing is happening because no one is ready to make a move, no one wants to stand out and speak out, no one want to stress themselves because they have their own welfare to look after. Well, just a reminder that African's next generations are still coming up, African children are growing and if we don’t fight for them now like the past heroes fought for our freedom in the past, African offsprings are the ones to suffer their parents ignorance and un-attention towards a positive change in Africa.

Africans, I urge everyone to fight against bad corrupt leaders. If any leader is not working he or she should be removed from sit. They call it impeachment right? Yes, impeach and remove any corrupt leaders. Your togetherness and one voice matters a lot in Africa.
Politicians should not be using African resources and loans to enrich themselves only while so many people are dying of hunger in Africa.

The thing to do is to get organized; keep separated and you will be exploited, you will be robbed, you will be killed. Get organized and you will compel the world to respect you” Marcus Garvey.

Yes, I love this and I’ve mentioned earlier for Africans to get together, love one another and have one voice and fight together. If you keep hating and fighting yourselves then you will be robbed of your rights and funds. Africans, if you don’t come together and fight corruptions and bad leaders in your Nation, there’s never going to be a positive change and achievements towards development. If Africans don’t fight against bad leaders, they will keep stealing and wasting the little left, thereby rendering the Nation poorer and empty.

Africans should stand together and say NO to bad and corrupt governance. Stand together and voice out to what you want and deserve. Stand together and fight criminal activities and corruption in your Nation. I urge Africans to never let other Nations insult or abuse them again, insult and fight back anyone that insults or takes you for granted.  Fighting here, I mean is not a violent one or destruction or beating of sorts. But by fighting, I mean, the lawful mental fight to expose that unfortunate being or Nation that will look at you and call you criminal, illiterate or fraudster. Do expose the person to your African brothers and sisters and watch their reactions. Do insult and abuse him or her back and sue if possible. Everyone has smart phones and cameras, so do snap and post the photos of your abusers. Don’t take any insult light or simple, even if you get stepped on the toe and you didn’t get sorry for it, please do stand up and yell at the person and press charges against him or her.

Africans can stand together so as not be robbed by politicians and get left in sufferings. Stand together and fight criminal act and corruptions so as not be insulted or being abused by other Nations or foreign citizens. Stand up to them and insult back and make it to go viral. Africans please do stand up together, love one another and have one voice always, so as not to be exploited or be robbed..not anymore!.

"To be a Negro in this country and be relatively conscious is to be in a rage almost all the time” James Baldwin.

I disagree to that, No Negro will ever be unnecessarily at rage without having a reason and being conscious all the time, I’d say I love that because any moment a Negro let down their guard that’s when they will get insulted and get treated unkindly. No Negro should ever let down their guard or take insults lightly or take foul words unserious. In fact, they should always be at rage. Damn it! It’s always about self esteem and earning respect from other people. I personally will never ignore or refuse to act when someone call me a criminal or fraudster, even if I am and have no prove I'd so fight you and won’t give a damn about the environment, especially foreigners. No whites should insult any Black again.

“ One had better die fighting against injustice than to die like a dog or rat in a trap” Ida B. Wells.

Absolutely, this is one of my favorite quotes and I hope Africans could fight together against bad leaders in their Nation. Most Africans especially the wealthy ones don’t want to be disturbed about fighting because they feel they don’t have time for that. My message to them is that, when everything gets worse in this Nation, they will also lose together with the poor ones. Let them travel or move abroad, one day they will remember their mother land and the mess in it won’t allow them to come home, thereby sticking in another man’s land. Why not fight for what you deserve so as to bring a better environment in Africa so that those other Nations would come to your own Nation to stay.
Africans, whether rich or poor stand together and fight, fight corruptions, fight bad leaders they won’t try any thing to harm you once you stand together. They can never do anything stupid if a whole Nation fight against them, in fact they will become afraid but when the Nation keeps silence and go about their business, nothing will ever change and the African next generation will suffer it including their own children.
These past heroes that fought for our rights fearlessly, assuming they did not stand out and fight, just think of what will be happening to us their next generation by now. Think about your family being sold and separated into slavery, think about the wars and oppression and aggressiveness on the Africans during colonization. Have you asked yourself what would have happen to you by now if those things are still happening in Africa and those Black heroes couldn’t fight because they were afraid. Africans think deep.
That is what will happen if we don’t come together and fight against bad rulers in Africa. Their would be no development and people will keep suffering in poverty and negligence.
Africans do leave your comfort zones and fight against injustice and bad rule and corruptions so as not to get trapped and die cowardly.

It’s quite simple to note for every politician to imitate the European leaders. Africans should imitate them in every aspect of life activities like dressing, language, education and others. So why not imitate their system of leadership?
Every politicians should swear to die and with his or her family’s head, that if the Nation’s funds and all being taken by him illegally apart from what he should earn as his service, he and his family would perish and I bet you they will be afraid to tamper with the Nation’s income.
And if any ruler or leader is not performing his or her duty well, he or she should be totally removed from sit. It’s always about the Nation’s welfare, that is why they are being elected in the first place and they should give their best to the African citizens. Africa is lacking behind so much from every other continent..why? People complain every day yet there’s never solutions or improvement after all the laments and cries. Why not stand up, stand together and say a big NO to bad corrupt leaders. It’s not even just the leaders, Africans especially Nigeria, are the cause of our problems. Our Selfishness, Greediness, and Criminal Corrupted Minds is overwhelming, it is too much, we need to cut them down a little if we really want to excel or succeed and develop like other Nations.

“When I dare to be powerful- to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid” Audre Lorde.

Yes, to the African leaders I’m sorry if I’ve said a lot of Negative things about you. We all know the truth, but won’t keep hitting on that anymore. Let me just say a little out of my own capacity. Every leader's mission and vision should always rely on the betterment of African Nation. The things to do in order to put a smile on the people’s face and be remembered till the next generation. Every leader should always have the peoples’ welfare in mind and the things to do to raise the standard of living in Africa. One leader can not achieve that alone but He can start from somewhere to get other leaders to join him in working for the great nation.
Bestowing power on a citizen means giving him all the go-ahead freedom to carry out plans and decisions and those plans and decision includes what to do to make your nation a great one, what to do to make your nation a developed and beautiful place to be. To enhance it’s beauty and glory.

What to do to reduce poverty, hunger, criminal activities and corruptions. I bet you that leader will never have the mind or even a thing of stealing from the Nation. That leader won’t even have enough for himself and his family but he sure have a lot to gain as a good leader. African leaders please help this great nation, help the poor ones that barely have food to eat, help to move this nation to a greater part and bring a positive change that other nations would love and respect African Continent. Do note that all will also lose if this Nation is being turned into abject of caricature. Other Nation will also insult you and insult the land you come from.

“There is in this world no such force as the force of a person determined to rise. The human soul cannot be permanently chained” W. E. B. Dubois.

The determination of rising to greatness lies in the hands of the Africans. There is no way that things will not change if they come together in one love and fight for the betterment and greatness of African Nation. If they are determined and tired of their situations, the disrespect, the insults and the let downs, the poverty and sufferings, the under-development and under-achievements, the lack of social health and educational facilities, the subdue of un-employments and  criminal activities. Once the African’s are determined to rise up, they will fight and take actions and voice out together. The leaders will have no other option but to respect their wish and choices. Because every leader becomes afraid when the people he rules are against him and unhappy with him.

The moment we choose to love we begin to move against domination, against oppression. The moment we choose to love we begin to move towards freedom, to act in ways that liberate ourselves and others” Bell Hooks.

This is a good one. Love conquers everything, Love brings peace, love brings freedom, love liberates and makes a nation whole. When there is love and fear of God, everything could be achieved in a nation. Therefore, I urge Africans to love one another and stand together. I urge Africans to fight for each other and celebrate themselves always. No more hates, no more killing and no more abuses on each other. There’s nothing that won’t be achieved without love. With love, Africans will fight off corrupt leaders and free themselves from negative activities. With love Africans can achieve the greatness and development of Africa.

To my dear American and European brothers and sisters, in Africa we don’t discriminate colors, we don’t insult foreigners, we don’t abuse or look down on white men. I’ll urge all Whites to also love and respect the Blacks, the Africans. Even if a lot of negative things are happening in Africa help them out and not insult or mock them because no Nation is free, you are having your own attacks from Muslims and gunmen, while Africa is having it’s own nightmares, and its same thing with every other nations. Criminal acts is nationwide, every nation has it’s own criminals, fraudsters and corruptions just that few controlled the height of theirs to reduce but can never be stopped.  Africa has good people in it as well as bad ones likewise other nations. Africa loves and respects Whites and they expects them to love and respect Blacks too. Respect and love Africa because they have suffered and done a lot of good things and contributed to the greatness of American and European Nations.

“If we have the courage and tenacity of our forebears, who stood firmly like a rock against the lash of slavery, we shall find a way to do for our day what they did for theirs” Mary McLeod Bethune.

Lovely, that’s so true, this is from a black woman Mary an educationist and activist. If Africans could have the extreme courage and quality, strongness and persistency of their forefathers or ancestors, who endured and fought the harshness and pains of slavery, the new Africans can find a way for a better day in Africa like their forefathers did in their own days for freedom. I mentioned this earlier that if Africans cannot summon the courage to fight against bad and corrupt rulers, their children will suffer it later.

If Africans cannot fight for their rights and freedom bravely without minding what they stand to lose or suffer, they can achieve a great nation like their forefathers were able to achieve their freedom from slavery and inhumanity from the white men.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rian without thunder and lightning” Frederick Douglass.

That’s another beautiful one from Frederick Douglass, one of the black abolitionists that fought for Black men freedom from slavery. There will never be a change if people don’t fight for change, there will never be a development if Africans don’t fight for it, There will never be good hospitals with quality doctors if Africans don’t fight the government, there will never be good provision of social amenities if the people don’t fight their government, there will never be jobs, industries, factories, and all if the people cannot fight the government. Development and achievements can only be achieved in Africa if the Africans stand together as one and fight these corrupt leaders, send them off and replace them with thoroughly scrutinized good young individuals.
There will never be change in Africa without speaking up and fighting for it.

The walls, the bars, the guns and the guards can never encircle or hold down the idea of the people” Huey P. Newton

Yes!, no one no matter how powerful, ruthless and strict he or she is as a leader, he or she can never hold down a whole people when they come together and fight for what they believe it. Nothing can ever wipe them off until they achieve their aim. That’s why I like white men, they are always going on a protests and demonstrations and they voice out together until their government does whatever they want. They don’t sit back silently because they are afraid..No.
But in Africa, no one wants to make a move, they sit back and live their lives like nothing is happening. I’d say let them not bother, especially in Nigeria, let them keep enjoying themselves like they are the most comfort citizens in the world. Let them keep fighting one another because of tribal differences, religion differences and other personal beliefs instead of fighting their government until it will be late for them to keep themselves together.

You have to be taught to be second class; you’re not born that way” Lena Horne.

Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than the hated” Coretta Scott King.

My respect goes to the most numerous White men that love and adore the Black men. When I said white men insult black men, it’s not quite all of them. Most white men are unnecessarily aggressive and hateful to the black ones, and I can’t fathom why. Everything of negative acts that the blacks do are being learnt from whites, so why the hate?.

There are several whites that are sensible enough to know that colors don’t matter anymore in this century. It’s all about teaming up together to make the world a better place for every human being no matter the tribe, religion, color, culture and other things. What matters now is coming together and be at peace to one another. Shout out to the most whites who know the value of love and the peace and refreshing feelings it brings, to live without hate or discriminations. Without cursing and insulting another group of people just because they don’t share the same color with them. Well, it’s always the haters that suffers most.

We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated” Maya Angelou.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that” Martin Luther King Jr.

I agree with him and I love to make it known that I don’t hate anybody, both white and black people around the world. I have white friends and they have done nothing wrong to me but it’s only those that have not even been in contact with the Africans that are abusing and insulting them. I’m not a racist and will never be, infact this article is meant for the racists that still hate Africans even in this century.

“You just need to be a flea against injustice. Enough committed fleas biting strategically can make even the biggest dog uncomfortable and transform even the biggest nation” Marian Wright Eldelman.

Injustice is always a threat to every nation. It is a beginning of a downfall of a Nation. Africans should always stand for justice and fight for any positive thing that they believe in. They seek the truth and help the helpless because God himself punishes those that stand with injustice.

Those are the same stars, and that is the same moon, that look down upon your brothers and sisters, and which they see as they look up to them, though they are ever so far away from us, and each other” Sojourner Truth.

It’s a pity that Africa lost a lot of souls in slavery and thousands of them were killed and wasted by the Europeans. Those souls that were taken away would have contributed in one way or the other to the great Africa. Their generation would have been existing in the world up till now. But what do we do if not to always pray for them to continue to rest in peace. Amen!

We understand their pains, sufferings and cries they went through when they were being sold, chained and shipped away from their families, from their nation and from their future. May their souls continue to rest in peace and may those of them that fought for the Black's freedom continue to rest in peace. I still look up to the sky and I wonder how it felt to be forcefully separated from your family, taken into hard labor, always being flogged and beaten, being starved and punished, and locked you up in a dark room so that you will never see your freedom. God, just the imagination of being in bondage torment my soul, then what about experiencing it. God in heaven please forbid it.

If you stick a knife in my back nine inches and pull it out six inches, there’s no progress. If you pull it all the way out that’s not progress. Progress is healing the wound that the blow made. And they haven’t even pulled the knife out much less heal the wound. They won’t even admit the knife is there” Malcolm X.

Wow, does this mean that the Europeans are still denying the pains they caused Africa? That they are not even sorry?, and they mock and insult them for slow development after all they took away from Africa? Yes, I guessed right. If Europeans could be sorry for what they did to Africans, they would have helped them to develop Africa, they would never insult Africans and laugh at them that they are undeveloped and dying in poverty. The Europeans don’t even admit their wrongs to Africa, they still claim that African had slaves too, that slavery existed in Africa before they came.

Let me enlighten you a little more: “The kind of slavery that the Europeans introduced into West Africa had no relationship to the African system of indentured servitude. In the African system, slaves were usually losers in a local war or someone that could not pay up his dept. They were not enslaved separately from their families and no slaves were sent outside of Africa. Some slaves with talent rose to be kings in the very house in which they had been slaves. The word slave in Africa had an entirely different meaning than it had when used by the Europeans.”  You can research more on the system of African slavery and it’s difference from that of the European system.

“I did not get on the bus to get arrested, I got on the bus to go home” Rosa Parks.

“Freedom is to come to the Negro, not as a bequest, but as a conquest” Carter G. Woodson.

“I freed thousands of slaves. I could have freed thousands more if they had known they were slaves” Harriet Tubman.

“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any” Alice Walker.

That’s part of low esteem and inferiority and all. Africans are known as free people that have all it takes to fight for their own rights and developments. Don’t fight back down or feel afraid and don't feel powerless about your desire, your needs and the services that you deserve from your leaders. You all voted them into power and that power is being used to serve your nation which providing the nation’s necessary needs is one of them.

Africans do fight for your rights and your beliefs. Any leader that is not doing his duties should be sent away as he is being put there by the same people who would not be needing his services again in a given territory and time.
